Microfiber Towel Deal at Target

Target has a deal on Microfiber "multipurpose" cloths right now. The size is 15 x 24 in - about 8 inches wider than a normal microfiber towel. A pack of four towels is only $5.99 What's the catch? The color: they are a blue/white stripe that looks like a dish towel. Don't worry if you can't make it to Target in time - the normal price is $6.99 which is still a great deal. Make sure to check the size of the towel before purchasing as they have a number of towels for sale, but most are 15 x 16 or whatever the normal size is.

Costco probably has better prices (especially for oil and shop towels), but the lines at the local store are not worth the effort.

don't forget that microfiber towels in vary in quality just like anything else... i bought some from target and thought they sucked compared to some i got from topofthelinedetailing.com, which are excellent and you can really tell when you use them on your windows, the cheaper ones will leave annoying fibers behind!!!! to each his own

You must have a very clean car and clean waterblade to use it , or it will scratch your car.

Finally had a chance to use the Target Microfiber Towels this morning and they were pretty terrible. They did a good job of soaking up the water, but became waterlogged within a few wipes. I was able to wring the water out, but I've never had to do this with my standard Microfiber.

I had my standard Microfiber on hand to compare, and it did a great job as usual. The regular Microfiber not only felt thicker, but is made of 70% polyster/30% polyamide, while the Target towels are made of 80% polyster/20% polyamide.

I have decided that I will continue using them for drying off my wheels and trim.

For those wondering where my standard microfiber came from, here is a link: http://zymol.com/shop/sub-category.asp?CID=122
