| It won't be any easier or harder to remove scratches. The problem is that they are much more visable in the Carbon Black. On your red car when you thought you removed the scratch it may have still been there just much less noticable. That same scratch on carbon black will probably be noticable. I LOVE Carbon Black by the way!!! |

| On black cars is it possible to completley remove scratches. Because my neighbor has a black e55, it came back from the detailer's and it looks like it's just been waxed really good, you can see in the paint all the minor scratches? If it matters it's an 03 and the paint is non metalic.

| i found with metallic paint because of the sparkle, covers a lot of scratches that would be more noticeable with non metallic paint (especially car wash scratches, which are very very light) i would definitely prefer metallic paint over non metallic, the carbon black is really way way easier to maintain than the regular non metallic black......good luck and post some pics when your done detailing it
