| Remove Scratches from Rims? I just purchased a set of Valbrem 16"s off eBay for $100. I am very satisfied with the purchase because it was truely a great deal. However there are a few things that I did not notice in the pics during the auction that I would like to fix on the rims if at all possible. If not no biggie considering the price I paid. There are a few minor scratches on the rims and I was wondering if there was a way to cover them up and what to use to cover them up? Also according to the previous owner "These were unused spares purchased from a World Challenge Racing team campaigning E36 M3’s." The weights are duct taped to the rims on all 4 of them. He said that this was done by the racing team. Is there anything that i can use to get rid of the glue that the tape leaves behind when it is peeled off that wont damage/rust the rim? http://i100.photobucket.com/albums/m...25is/tire3.jpg http://i100.photobucket.com/albums/m...25is/tire1.jpg |

| For now i'm just gonna leave the rims alone, i decided not to put them on my car until after the winter. I'll probably just leave the scratches as they are. I've never heard of metho so i will have to look into that. The only thing I will be doing is getting the glue off. If i use goo gone will that corrode the rim at all? |

| No it wont We use duct tape so the sticky weights dont fall off under high speed or load, if you can't see it from the front I would leave it.
