| That panel originally has plastic studs on it that stuck through holes in the main trim panel. the studs were then melted and squashed to hold the two trim panels together.
There is no easy way to get these two pieces to sit flush without pulling them both out of the car and re trimming the part that is coming loose.
You can use silicone as a cheap fix, it will stand up to the heat but it is not strong enough to hold the pieces together flush and tight.
Your best bet is to get it into a professional motor trimmer and let them fit some new studs to the loose panel so it can be pulled in tight against the main panel from behind like the original factory trim!
Hope this is of some help.
Luke.
