| You opened up a can of worms here! EVERYONE HAS THEIR FAV. But it does depend on what color and type of paint you have. Now reds are easy to look nice, so is white, black is hard becasue it show swril marks easy. I use Zymol wax and 3M prep. What is more inportant then the wax is the prep. Get a really good clay bar to remove inbedded stuff, then use a really nice polish/glaze to make it shine, then wax. I like to use products that don't take off any paint. Some have a lot of harsh stuff in them like kersoine. These dry out the paint and make it worse. Another thing to stay away from is Silicone!! It is real bad for paint. Looks great at first then dries the paint and dulls it. I think all the quality wax is good. Stay away from CHEEP department stores! The Zymol for $8 is NOT the same Zymol for $50! Zymol, PS2, Ziano, meguries professional, 3M, Griot's...

| ZAINOS all the way! One you go Zainos you won't go back...... CMT had a very good writeup on this before, email him for info. With Zainos it goes on very easy and comes off very easily. I have seen comparisons of Zainos/Zymol/Meguiars in couple of places on the net before, lost the bookmarks though. Anyway, I don't think anything comes close to Zainos. www.zainobros.com |

| Meguiars is good if you want off the shelf but my favorite is Groit's Garage Best of Show. Its not too expensive (comparativly) and boy does it leave a shine! Lasts for a really really long time too. When my car was it the dealer getting the transmission replaced (under warranty ) it was there for over 3 weeks outside in rain and sleet on a 2 and a half month old coat of wax. Took it home and washed it and the paint was still silky smooth! Best of Show seems like really good wax if you aren't the type to do it every month or two (even though I am ) with an incredible shine that lasts and lasts. |
