torn seams on leather seats

I was wondering what the cost would be to get the two front seats out of my 86 735 re-stitched and partly re upholstered. It’s along the seams in the middle of the seat the leather has dried and shrunk and now the seams have given way. There is tare's on the drivers and the passenger’s seat. My only problem is I’m not swimming in money so id like to do it on the cheap and vinyl is a possibility.

I have the same problem in my '94 900 turbo saab. The driver seat seam is coming apart

depending on your style you could:
A) duct tape/ seat covers
b) reupholster it yourself
c) pay somebody else to do it.

i'm not trying to be rude, but i have the same problem, and there's not much to do with is since i dont know how to reupholster. You'd have to replace the sections of vinyl if the stitching ripped through the holes. but if it didnt rip, then youd just have to re-stitch it. Too much work for me. Im looking at used bimmer parts stores for heated seats i could wire in.
