So far, so good. It went on easily enough, and while I lathered it on too thickly like a fool, it still wasn't THAT hard to remove ( ), and it did leave this clownass sucka chumpster dude's new wheels looking and feeling slick, with a nice "freshly waxed" gloss to them.

Now to see how it holds up over time under the coming layers of brake dust, I will post more in this thread when I have more to report.

Of course, given that the two above pics are taken at different angles, which yields different light reflections, the before/after pics are useless for any real comparison.

I have heard 2 coats is recomended. Looks great Chris, can't wait to hear the results.

so the ssr emblem didn't have a black/dark hue to it prior to application of the wheel sealant?

My bad dude, I should have answered this sooner.

The SSR emblem's hue did not change, it is just a trick of the different light angles from the two pics.

Still waiting for my friend to let me know how the wheel sealant works - I don't think he has driven the car extensively or washed the car yet.

sounds good. after all of your posts, i think i'm going to make a few purchases from superior details once i move (long distance, atlanta to l.a.) in a few weeks.

questions:

#1. How well do these work on wheels that are powdercoated black?

#2. Does it leave a residue drying up? I ask b/c I have alot of rivets and should they get in there I'm not sure I'd like to spend my time on a wheel w/ a Qtip all day.

#3. Where can I purchase these?

#4. How's the review going so far?
