Well, I just use dish soap to wash the outside of my car. Probably not the best for the paint, but oh well. I use Maguire's Endurance tire gel for the tires, and for my black trim pieces, works WONDERFUL!! On the inside I just use some Armor-all and if any of the upholstry is dirty, I use some upholstry cleaner (no specific brand).

You got a 2002 M3 and zymol is too much for u ?? camon!. I use Zymol for Shampoo and Polish. And I use their Leather cleaner and Conditioner. For Plastc parts I use Armor All Ultra Shine. For tiers ..Armor all phome (cant spell) is good but dosen last long at all. Black Magic Tire Wet Gel is really good...last long and has a HUGE shine. and Eagle One WET tire shine is good. And for Weels I use Castrol All Weel Cleaner...works the best, but dont use it on clear coted weels. Need more??..I should take a pic of my box for car cleaning .

i have a few years experience in professional detailing....and i would suggest the Zymol products...or
Use Meguires Gold Class Shampoo for washing (use a very nice soft mitt, clean of course)
then use california water blade to wipe of the water (reduce swirl marks)
Use Mother's interior detailer, it looks like milk almost. (red bottle)
For the tires use Stoner's More shine Less time -- works well and is very easy to put on and will not build up nasty dirty like the gels will. Stays for a good while, prevents browning and produces a very nice light shine.
For the leather i use Meguires Gold Class leather conditioner.
For the outside black trim, Mother's Back to Black is very good.
For any carpet cleaning Stoner's Carpet Cleaner is one of the best.
For windshields Turtle Wax Professional glass cleaner is the best. (comes in a clear bottle, safe for tinted windows and such) and no streaks left behind.
For any buffing needs to smooth the finish use Meguires Fine Cut cleaner and a reciprocating buffer.
Then use the Meguires Gold Class Liquid Wax...or Zymol Cleaner Wax/Wax

These are the products i have used on my M3, my families vette and lexus ls400. If used properly these products can make your car look in showroom condition 100% of the time.
If you don't know about the products i could always take pics and post them so you know what to look for.
I can also post pics of the work done on my M3 with these products....
good luck!

I use some soap thats probably called turtle soap or something like that oh well i think its made by the turtle wax company. It has a turtle on the label for sure.

And for the wax, I used to use Zymol but now I use Meguiars gold class. Zymol was very good!!

For the interior pieces, I use armor all to protect the interior.

And for the wheels to make them shiny as hell, I use Meguiars tire gel. Shines bright fa sho! Bling Bling Baby!!!

read my post above about the swirl removers (fine cut cleaner) ...he's right tho, Zymol will reduce the swirls by a lot. The wax just does not stay on as long...
To get those key marks out....you may need to go a step up to medium cut or heavy cut cleaners. Meguires are very good...make sure to use a nice buffer,(I listed one good one above) an orbital buffer tends to make more swirls than ya had.
hope that helps...

WATER WATER WATER WATER!!!!!

I only use water when washing my car NO SOAP! Especially dish soap. As long as you wash your car on a regular basis and it doesn't get extremely dirty like when you drive in snow then only use water. And lots of it. Use a cotton towel and rinse out your bucket 2 or 3 times during your wash. For waxing and detailing I only use Meguire's....

I use Wesleys High gloss car wash or Sonax high gloss car wash. Both leave very little water spots on the car. I use an old bath towel to dry the car. I once a month wax it with Mequiars Gold Class carnuba wax but may change to Klasse all-in-one sealer. I've seen this product on the show circuit and its incredible. I use Vinylex for all the vinyl, I have found NONE better. For the leather, I used Lexol but it turned my light gray leather tannish, now I use a leather conditioner & cleaner from a company called Liquid leather in the UK. These products are awesome, found none better at this time. Web address is liquidleather.com. Hope this helps! Ray
