| Removing key marks Well it looks like ill be picking up a new 318is, its in exellent condition and so is the paint but it has been keyed. My dad ordered a buncha stuff including the buffer from meguiers. What can i do to make it look as good as possible?

| Umm, well let's see here. If they are key marks- as in someone keyed you, then you probably won't be able to do a darn thing. If you can feel the scratch with your fingernail, its repaint time. If not, unfortunately the Megs. DA (same as PC) is maybe going to be able to tackle some light duty, but nothing substantial. That's all I can offer based on your extremely vague description. |

| there is a type of wax that sells wax in specfic colors. they originally started with just black because of how chips show up after being waxed with regular wax. then i guess they realized they could make it for all colors. other than that, most key marks cant be fixed without being repainted, depending on how deep the scratch is, just like the others said. touch up paint is very risky and very easy to make it look worse than when you started. good luck,,,, -dominic
