I took CMT's advice and used the EX-P / VM method on my old 87 325e. I did this exterior detail about two weeks ago. Right before I took the pictures, I applied some QD to get the daily grime off.
The paint is about two years old (repaint). And it has seen some wear (chipping). The hood chipping is a result of letting the sister drive the car and having the car returned in a wrecked state. The front driverside fender is a little off in the pictures because it was replaced due to the wreck.
My new sidemarker comes in this week, as well as some e36 window switches for the interior. Also hope to order a set of Ronal LS wheels today or Thursday. Hopefully I'm going to be able to pick up a set of smileys for a nice price, too.
Thanks to Superior Detail Supplies for the awesome prices on the EX-P and VM
