| Are all micro-fibre towels the same? I've always used Zymol's towels, and micro-fibre towels, but have seen generic auto parts stores that have the micro one's for much cheaper. I've just assumed they were junk, but has anyone used these, or know what the difference is? |

| http://www.bettercarcare.com/articles.php?articleId=44 Heck no. There are significant amounts of differences for the microfibers. If you pay attention you will realize which is best for each task. Read the above link |

| Youll find some are an 80%-20% blend, some are 70%-30% blend. Some are made in China, some are made in Korea....Some are plusher than others, (Which isnt necessarily a bad thing, you can use for windows and interior areas) Some are plusher than others. What also matters is where you buy them, vendor integrity, shipping, and price.

| I never said they were good coz of zaino.. I said that it helps sales when you have a well known brand and endorsement for a product. Especially if it is one as complex as microfiber towels, which most people dont know much about. It makes it far easier to access the market, as the product is percieved with more confidence! I mean after all, thats why internet stores sponsor online forums, so that the online forum is associated with a store, which decreases the percieved risk of giving out your credit card online..

Its perception, not necessarily reality or truth. As for Forum sponsorship, theres a fee involved with that. So if its perceived that quality is inherant with sponsorship, thats a sad mistake. I could be Tom, Dick, or Harry, front $250.00 per month for a banner, and because its on a forum, its perceived to be "ok"....... As my original reply suggested, " Your best and most reliable source are from people you can trust.....Ask us !" Again, your better off with recommendations from someone you can trust....

| Quote: Are all micro-fibre towels the same? ~One mans opinion / observations~ A: No By definition, (very small; involving minute quantities or variations) micro fibres are ultra-fine yarns made from various sources. They can be polyester, nylon, or a natural material such as cellulose, Microfiber filament spun or extruded from natural materials such as cellulose (plant fibres r) are available. Micro fibres are two times finer than silk and nearly one hundred times finer than human hair. The smaller the diameter, the softer the fabric will feel, this does not mean, however, that it is not abrasive or will not scratch. Just because it says Microfiber / Micro fibre and it feels soft does not guarantee a scratch free shine Check dftowel.com and the bettercarcare.com sites “Your best and most reliable source are from [unbiased] people you can trust.....Ask us !” ~Hope this helps~ Knowledge unshared is experience wasted justadumbarchitect / so I question everything/ Jon |
