| While the S100 will add reflectivity and depth, you will want to make sure the paint is prepped correctly before you proceed with a wax topper. What condition is the paint in now? Any swirls, or scuff/scratches on the finish pre-wax? |

| The paint is in pretty alright condition, a few scratches here and there, mostly bunched up in small groups. I think the trunk has some swirl marks. What should I do? I'm thinking Wash, clay, S100. But I'm open to suggestions. Thanks for replying Chris.

| I would suggest a hand application of Meguiar's Dual Action Cleaner Polish (DACP) as a prep step after the clay bar and before the S100 - It would do a lot to remove the swirls, etc from the paint and can be applied by hand if you don't have a random orbital. DACP gets rave reviews from everyone that I have heard who has used it. ![]() |

| I usually let the s100 haze a bit before wiping it off with microfiber, terrycloth is fine, the deeper the pile the better. I use the foam applicator that came with it, i put it on in back and forth straight lines and buff off going the opposite direction, i heard this helps with reflection and doesnt create swirls, could be all BS, i dont know any better LOL. |
