Good Buffer?

Does anyone know a good buffer i can get for my car. Ive looked at like the ones from Sears and wondering if those were any good. I really dont want a P.O.S. buffer.

There are several good ones, all based on your budget. Make sure you get a random orbit. I am using a Black and Decker 10" POS and it works just fine. I have used others including some Poterfields and other very expensive ones, and they don't work any better...just more comfortable and easier to use. Sears is fine.

Porter Cable Random Orbital Polisher (PC). Purchase either a 7424 or 7336 model.

personally i like the makita rotory 7" buffer/polisher but if you used a rotory buffer make sure you know how to use it and not burn the paint and moldings

PC 7424- www.coastaltool.com has the great package, properautocare.com has the 6 1/2 in pads, topoftheline.com 71 1/2 pads.
Like Notorious said, unless you know how to use a rotary, stick with the PC

i detail cars and i think dewalt is the best out there the one i bought for myself is the dewalt 849 it is about $210.00 at home depot you will have to order one they don't have them in stock it will take a week oh ya and you will have to buy a backing pad the one that comes with it is junk get a velcro one they are another $15.00 and becarfull not to burn the paint and moldings dude is this the biggest runon sentence ever in the history of the english language maybe it could be you never know but i will be sure to try and top it in the future with another one that makes it sound like i have never been to one school in my life and i just hit random keys and this post showed up you know like the old adage that if you put typewriters in a room full of monkeys some day chance will have them type out the complete works of shakespear that is kind of what happened with this barely readable post khgdjhgfd jkyfkjyf kjfg kjhgd tfrs g

Definately either dewalt, porter cable, or makita. Also get a DA (dual action) buffer.

I think if your not going to use it all the time you should go find one that is light and fits wll in your handwell, because it can really wear you out it your not used to it.

Yea really, man your paint won't last another 2 months at that rate. I personally think hes talking about an orbital buffer not a high speed polisher.
