Thumbs up Mr. Clean AutoDry !! LUV IT!

Hey, my Mr. Clean AutoDry came in a few days ago, finally got around to testing it out to wash my moms car.. i must say great Product thumbs up, easily cleaned the car, and not worrying about wiping down the car before water drys and leaves spots.. just rinse off the wash wit the AutoDry and left it out to dry w/out any spots on body or windows.. sure saves lots of time..

Go to Autopia, not such great reviews. What is the point anyway, its so expensive to use. Its more expensive than buying a new lambswool washmit, some 1Z perls shampoo, and multiple WW towels. If you really concerned about it, get a water deionizer.

well i only washed one car so far, wit it and so far so good .. the website i got it from is not selling it nomore, it was one of those promotional deals, they wont go on sell to the public till' sometime next month if i am correct.. i got it for only 30$ w/2nd day rush delivery .. it saves lots of time too, the soap, and hose, and filter all hooks up to one gun, so u can rinse first (wit regular water) then switch it to soap and shoot some soap on the car, then wipe down then rinse everything off wit the deionized water that sprays out after being filtered..

I think I remember the commercial saying that it'll be available in stores in spring, but you can order one now if you call the company direct.

Guys, the magic thing with autodry is the purified water. If you put an undersink filter on your garden hose and use a sheeting agent and you have the same deal.

Here is a filter that you can pipe in easily.
http://www.naturalsolutions1.com/raingro1.htm

The spots are calcium and minerals in your water, if you purify it your spotting will be signifigantly reduced the Armor all stuff has a sheeting agent, wax and soap all in one.

Here is the same stuff

anything that will purify/soften your water will work... I'd rather hookup some sort of high capacity water filtering thing if I was really bored.

just was ahd wipe... you'll get rid of the spots when u wax anyways... and as long as u got a good wax, use a CA water blade and a chamois and u can dry your car really quick

also, even w/ purified water, it'll attract dust just sitting there, and the dust and dirt in the air will cause it to spot again.

we used that mr clean thing on 2 Supras, an X5 4.4, and a 745i... none of us liked it... can't drive car right away since dust will collect on the water, gotta make sure water dries up fast but that would result in the soap drying when washing, and it's $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. for $30 u can get the CA water blade, chamois, and a small bottle of car wash.
