wax tip Don't know if any one has used Meguires Quick Wax yet, but if you haven't give a try, works great. But the tip is this, spray it on while the car is wet, just a section at a time though. Use your chamios cloth like normal, and just work it in while drying the car. Afterwards just use a good soft cloth to buff it. It works wonders, and keeps the paint looking sweet. My car is Fern Green, and it always has a nice deep gloss and shine.

Actually you are supposed to be it on a dry car let it haze over. IMO its at best a decent product that might extend the life of a carnauba maybe a little bit, but not worth the trouble in my opinion. I think a QD spray like FD achieves better results without the overspray on the windows.

I tried both ways, didn't see much difference either way. Spraying on while wet saved time. also sprayed it on the windows too. the wax helps get the bugs off easier. but you're right, it's still not better than real wax, but it's perfect for when you don't have a lot of time.

It shouldn't have helped get the bugs off as its not supposed to have any cleaning abilities I believe. Also, I have my glass treated with Aquapel which creates smearing issues. Anyway, the product isn't for glass and I am suprised it didn't smear.

no, I didn't mean I use it to clean bugs off, I put it on after I wash the windows. With the wax on, bugs don't stick as bad. I used to use rain x and had the same streaking problem. But I haven't had that probelm with quikwax. I put it on my wheels also, helps to protect the finish from brake dust, and I noticed tar doesn't stick as bad. I know it sounds weird but it works.
