| never use that crap. the only way you should clean your car is to hand wash and hand dry your car. all of those gadgets and system to wash car actually hurt your car's paint. I don't have all day to tell you about it so if you're interested on knowing the facts, feel free to ask.

![]() um, since when does distilled water hurt your paint?? I think I may invest into it after I see some reviews... they gaurantee a spot-free wash. I would get it so I could start washing my car on a weekly basis! and maybe a good detail by hand every month. ![]() |

| the cleaner in the mr. clean stuff isn't like normal car washing stuff. it uses regular soap. regular soap eats away wax and strips everything off of your paint. Car wash soap isn't as harsh and will leave your paint looking smoother longer. also, if you use car soap, you won't have to wax your car as much. Hope that helps guys.

| i said i was wrong about the mr. clean stuff but soap is a big factor in washing a car. Car washing soap like p21s or griot's is designed for car paint. it takes off dirt and grime from the paint and that is all it takes off. regular soap such as dishwashing soap or household use soap is very harsh. it takes everything off of your paint including wax and sealers. after it takes the wax off, there is nothing protecting your paint and it starts to wear down the clear coat over a long period of time. wax keeps the paint smooth if you didn't already know that because it fills in and smoothes down imperfections in your paint. if there isn't any wax on your car ever, than the paint will be rough and dull. I hope that was entertaining for you Greg. I'm not trying to trash you guys. I'm just trying to help you keep your bimmer as long as possible. ![]()
