5.25" speakers in the rear deck?

Hey I was wondering, does anyone know of a way that i could get 5.25" speakers to fit in the rear deck where the stock 4's go? i had thought about putting another 5.25" comp set back there but i'm not sure if it would work or not. if i dont end up going with that idea then i'm just going to get some nice 4" coax's and put those back there. any ideas woud be appreciated.

Go with 6x9's - you will be so impressed! I had 4" replacements and it sounded pathetic. There's a place that sells 6x9 adapters for your car at http://scorpion.makes.it and they ship fedex.

i got to fit 6 1/2's with the factory housing on a 96 look for one in a bone yard

CarCrazed- Great link. wish they sold that stuff in the US 'cause the shipping is outrageous!!
I bought a set of those plastic adapters off of ebay once..... They were so lame!! They are really thin and flimsy and one of my 6x9's broke off of it after a month. Using the Scorpion adapters (which are made out of composite wood) amazed me with the difference in sound, I never knew that 6x9's could put out such good bass.
But hey, I guess it's that old saying of 'u get what u pay for' huh?

I bought the 5.25". I would have purchased the 6x9 adapters, but I don't like coaxs. The 5.25" component is great though. I'll probably end up just using the adapters for the woofer, and end up mounting the tweeters in the rear C pillar. Boston Z5
