hey guys, im getting a system for my car, what i want to know is what speakers do pep here recomend on getting for the car. I do not have wads of cash stored, so price does matter, but if there is something that seriously is worth the extra buck, please let me know, any advice would be greately appreciated.

oh also what size speakers can we fit in the e36 328is??? with the harman kardon system.

I would get a nice set of focal's. They are worth the extra money, they are studio quality speakers and sound simply amazing.

yeah ive heard good things about focal and MB quartz. which are high end, high priced, blow your brains out speakers. but you can also find some decent quality speakers at shops too, but they dont sound as good at higher volumes. but the thing is, what we say sounds good may sound like crap to you, so my suggestion is to just go out there and start listening to different speakers, see what you like. also, depending on how your going to use them changes a lot too; if you want to blow your brains out, check ou the ones i mentioned eaerlier, but if you want some easy listeining speakers, you can just pretty much go with almost anything out there. a good idea is for you tgo go by www.crutchfield.com and look at the info they give you and what they can tell you about all the data they give you. just start reading up on stuff.

Edit: PS forgot to mention, I like bostwicks. theyre good for mid-range volumes and dont sound too bad. theyre good for how i use them. just make sure you don go out looking at brand-names all the time.
