| well first you need to find out some of the crucial bits of info about the sub. first you need to know what kind of box it likes so you can put it in the right enclosure re: right size. then you need to find out how many and what rating the voice coils are at say is it a dual voice coil with each coil rated at 2 ohms each? then you need to find out what the factory recomends for the RMS power and the PEAK power. those two are going to be very important along with the info about the voice coils because those will decide which amp you get and how you drive the sub. find those out and we can tell you what a good amp to get would be. what kind of a budget do you have? what kind of sound are you looking to get? With the experience i have had with Ultimate it wont need much power to run it. | hes right. you need to look up information on systems all together. your best spot is www.crutchfield.com - they have a good bit of info, you just gotta dig. and www.sounddomain.com has info on your specific sub. if i remember right, it said 300watts RMS. So I suggect looking for a nice amp (preferably mono-sub amp) that will give you the 300 watts Rms you need. as a suggestion, just start reading stuff. even try searching this forum...theres some good stuff on here.
