| custom audio setups? hey guys...i was wondering about some of your custom audio setups. as of now...i have a box w/12s in it. i want something a little more customized. i know you guys have pics of your ICE so lets see it! also...i think 12s are too much( at times the can make the trunk rattle... ). i was thinking of going w/10s instead...what do you guys think? any opinions or experiences? well...lets see those pics! |

| Custom fiberglass pods in the front kick-panels and rear deck. False floor in the trunk with fiberglass "trays" for the amps and cross-over. 12" sub mounted in a box, which is sitting in the spare wheel well. ![]() How about posting this in the new Audio Forum? ![]() |

| no pics yet, but: Nakamichi CD-45Z Dynaudio 240-mkII in front twin Kicker F10C 10" free-air subs in the rear deck a/d/s/ 830X powering everything. clean, simple, sounds great, no trunk space used up. Spent $1250 total, installed. |

| Here is my setup...I have 3 JL 8's in where my spare used to be, a phoenix gold 6 channel amp flush with the new false floor, Pioneer voice activated 12 disk changer on the back seat (so I can fold it down & change magazines on the road), Pioneer Premier DEH-700, & Infinity Kappa separates. Awesome sound, clean look, minimal space lost.

| I don't know what's up with those pics there, sometimes they show up, sometimes they don't. You can click on the attachment though and see what the first one is supposed to show up as.

| yes...i would like some more info. that setup is something i am very interested in also...if you don't mind me asking how much did the setup cost w/out the speakers(i mean like to have them placed in there? |

| I'll have to look up that info again and see how much the labor charges were. I had that installed and a $400 clifford alarm installed w/it for $1000. I know I was only charged $150 for the alarm (loyalty does pay off!) and the rest was labor, I'm just not sure if any was alarm labor for the extras or all for the system. My guess would be it cost me about $800 to get that done.
