Its hard to say whats the "best" speakers out for computers. First, the guy who said bose is definitely wrong. Bose is all crap. Second, if you are a real audiophile, then computer speakers wont be enough. First make sure your sound card is audiophile level. You probably gonna need to spend some major cash to get a proffesional level sound card. Second, you should attach it to a home speaker system. Then, if you truly want the best sound, you have to listen to the speakers yourself. There is no "best" in the audio world, its what sounds best to you. Then you can get all those fancy gadgets like Tube amps, Crazy ass cabling, etc. Dont say that money isn't an object, because it can be. If you want a true psycho system, its going to cost you over 200k. But for just normal use, The klipsch 5.1's are nice.

BOSE

BOSE BOSE BOSE

bozo sucks, period... they have never made anything good, bose is like a virus for the ignorant consumer to waste there money on. (which, i admit they have been very successful at syphoning large amounts of cash from americans).

most of the real computer speakers are pretty much junk... figure, the most the average consumer wants to spend on speakers for a consumer is a couple hundred bucks for a "good" system... so, divide that by 2 for dealer cost, then divide again by 2-5 for manufacturer cost, and you end up finding out that these speakers cost 5-10 bucks to make overseas.... its simply impossible to make a good set of speakers, and 2 amps for that cost...

i run a mini -> rca plug into a NAD amp with the bulk of a definitive procinema 200 system... i made my RA move further down the hall.

before you buy anything take a look at Boston Acoustics.

They are a great company that stands behind their products.

No, I don't work for them or am in any way affiliated with them.

I have 3 sets of speakers from them: BA635, BA735, and bookshelf for the home audio with an 8" sub.

All excellent sound quality for my not so excellent ears.
