I have a 2002 325i with tinted windows and have noticed when I put my rear defroster on, I get static with my AM/FM stations. I took it to the dealer and they said that because I have tint on my windows, my warranty is void for them to do any troubleshooting on this issue. I am very upset with BMW because I've had tint on all my vehicles before and never had a problem like this. They also said that it may be the entire window that may need to be replaced being that the antenna and rear defroster are on the rear window. I don't want to mess with having them replace the rear window, plus they wont start troubleshooting unless I remove the tint. Has anyone had this problem? Thanks.
