How to stop the radio interfare with the cd player?

Sometimes when i'm just out cruisin' listening to one of my cd's, the (damn) radio comes on. The display now says "news".
I don't have the instructions for my clarion unit, it was allready installed when i got the car.
How do i stop this from happening again? It really anoys me

ok, if the display says news, a few years ago higher end headunits started coming with an extra feature thats plugged into it thats for emergancy stuff so that whenever something big happens, everything will just shut off and go to thenw, but i don't know why a clarion would have 1, i though it was just alpine,pioneer and kenwoods high end models, but you may have 1 that just announces all headline news, id see if there is anything plugged into the back thats not part of it, or go to the clarion website and download the manual in adobe
