Problems with stock radio & Cd Changer. Please Help

1st Problem:
Ok, my AM works fine but my FM is messed up. Everytime I turn on my car the FM won't work for about 10 min. (dead silent) and then it'll turn on and be fine. At first it was this kinda choppy buzzing noise for like a minute, then it'd turn off, then 10 min. later its like they just found signal and the stations are working fine.

2nd Problem:
Ok for awhile now, my CD changer has not been working. I gave up on it along time ago and just got those portable CD player thingys. Like everytime I try to listen to the CD's it says NO DISC. I thought it was cuz I was playing those CD-R's but I put on a regular CD and it still wasnt reading. At one time it worked for alittle bit then it just shut off and said NO DISC.

I want to fix these problems before selling my car. Any suggestions on what's going on???

I got the same problem with my 6 disk changer. It's pissing me off, and I don't know what happend. I was driving down the road and it froze and went to the radio. Whenever I hit CD on the stereo it says I have "NO DISKS". I have tried burned cd's and also regular cd's still "NO DISKS". I tried yelling at it, I threatend it a few times still nothing. Oh yeah I also checked the wires, I know the cds are in the right way and the radio stations where I live SUCK! I will probably just take it to BMW, but they are a rip off for shit like this. Anyone got any ideas?

I know that when my radio did the "not come on for 10 mins and when it did it was like an anoying noise.... well I bought a used radio from someone on the forums and it worked perfect.... and also my old radio the display was fading, well I've had the new used one in for about 3-4 months and now this one's doing the same....so I'm wondering if I bought just a not so good used radio or if it's something in my wiring that's causing it. but I would try buying a used one(make sure the code comes w/ it) but I paid $18 for a used one....

I Suggest pushing FM button trying fm1 FM2 and FMA its all different wavelengths.. ive had this problem with radio but after i push FM works fine..
