| Crackly speakers Hey my mids are performing very crackily, it sounds like a bad radio station, I have the stock harmon kardon premium sound system in my car plus a alpine head unit, mtx 12" 8000 and a bazooka 600w amp, I was wondering if the speakers were blown or just something that needs to be repaired because most speakers that are blown that ive heard have just stopped working all together, mine are still producing sound. If anyone can give me advice on repairing them or replacing them it would be appreciated

| speakers unlike subs will still work after they've been blown, basicly what happened was an aftermarket headunit put anywhere from 40-50 watts of power thought speakers rated at a peak of maybe 15-30, a cheap fix would be "bass blockers" you can get them alot of places for about 4 bucks, they'll block the bass which it where it crackles cause the cone no longer extends right to handle it, these simply block that input
