Opinions - Car Audio shops in Vancouver

Can anyone recommend a good car audio shop for install work in the Vancouver,BC area?
A&Bsound, AVUnlimited, Ralph's, SpeakerCity, BoomPlus, Visions..etc..others..???
I'm looking for a shop that's had BMW experience.

I know this should belong in the CarAudio section but my question was specific to PacificNorthWest.

Speaker city is supposedly one of the best in Vancouver. Dad's porsche was wired there. They're very good and they know their stuff.

I don't know who they are but there's a shop on 4th just east of Burrard that seems to do a lot of good work - they have a lot of impressive cars there.

DON'T EVER go to A&B Sound. Maybe send your enemies there. The workmanship is crap at best (they replaced a $3,000 install job in a truck that was damaged here and the workmanship was absolute shite).

If you're willing to make the trip, one of the best audio installers in Canada (if not North America) [Joe Montgomery] has a shop in Calgary now. Great work, but you'd have to drive out.

there are alot of shops to avoid. unfortunately i've been to all the ones you should avoid: A&B, performance audio, north shore audio, Future shop

and a few more.
however i got something done at BOOM, not stereo, and i was quite pleased. so you might wanna try them.

audiolines on lougheed hwy. they do some of the nicest cars in van.

I'm still around. I was in Calgary for a bit and have basically been really busy with work. I'm still pretty eager to get around to another gathering at some point, but they don't seem to be happening all that frequently, and when they do happen I'm typically out of town!

Oh yeh... seriously contemplating dropping my Phoenix 500Ti and Eq6xxTi into the car with some ADS speakers in spring (driving down to cow-town to get it done by Joe). Would love to know if there's a really good shop out here. Seems to me, with the discussion this far anyways, that Calgary is prolly my best bet.

I have a friend who lives in Vancouver who has worked at and owned stereo shops. he does excellent (quickly too!) custom work. Im sure he will give you a break in $ if I recommend you to him... let me know if youre interested, and I will get ahold of him and PM you his # etc.

boomplustoys is the shop i used to go to. morris and I go way back so ask for him and he should be able to hook you up. they've done a lot of stereo stuff, from custom boxes all the way to simple decks and amp installs.

go to the one on main street, cuz that's where he's at most of the time.
