got CVA-1005, need subwoofer hookup help

hey i got a cva-1005 and i got wires from a friend but i dont kno how to hook up subs the right way. i kno to hook up the power to the positive end and ground and the RCA cables, but i dont kno where to hook up the REM cable....can anyone help me out??

the remote can be tapped into the power lead turn on, on the back of ure deck

The remote turn on lead will be found on the large harness on the brain of the CVA-1005. I believe it is pin out number 9, the bluw wire. I am not positive about the pin location, but it is the blue wire (it could be blue white), on the top of the brain there is a diagram that outlines each of the wire designations on the harness. On the large harness there will be a line for remote turn on, or amplifier turn on, and the corresponding wire color and location on the harness. Tap that wire to turn the amp on. I would recommend using an external relay if you are turning on multiple amplifiers. (more than 3)
