Radio Code?!?

Hi I bought my BMW used about two months ago. I needed to replace a fog light so yesterday I disabled my battery for sometime and did the installation. Now when I connected everything back up my clock,date, and radio had been erased. I entered my date and time .. my radio asked for a code. Where do I find this code!?! Does anyone have one I could use or does anyone know where I can find help . . this would be much appreciated. BTW, I have a 98 BMW 328i.

The code is tailored just for your car. It's different for each BMW. Look in your users manual folder. Find the book about the radio. On the last page, it flaps open and has two cards and two stickers. The card tells you the radio code. If you don't have the card, then go to the dealership.

yes unfortunately the stealership is the only place that can help yuo here , they have it all on the bmw database........

alright thanks for the information. I don't have the whole bmw users folder . . only the car manual and the warranty information one. I guess I will have to take it to the $tealership today.
