| Ripping Audio from DTM movies to burn on Cd's I'm wondering if anyone knows how to rip the audio tracks from an MPEG or WMV file. I usually just play car movies in the background while I'm messing around on the computer so I'm just listening to them. So is there a way to create an mp3 or wav file from these movies. I could just d'load the songs, but sometimes they are edited and it just isn't the same without tires screeching, engines revving, etc. Thanks in advance. John |

| I have a somewhat long and length way of doing things and there is probably a better way but here it goes: 1) Get FlaskMPG (an encoder) 2) Run it, set video quality to lowest (lowest res/qual) and have it output the sound to a seperate file. 3) Flask it, you will now have a Flaskoutput.mp2 (or something like that) in the output folder, put that into winamp. 4) Use Winamp Diskwriter to output that to a .wav file in the directory you want. 5) Load into the burning program as you wish! Hope that helps! -hoka PS: you should be able to get FlaskMPG at www.doom9.net or .org, whichever one the ripping site is. Happy ripping! |

| WinMX....works great! Multi point downloading makes downloads go faster and you can find almost everything on there. It's going to be a lot easier to just find out what the song's called and download the song itself...$.02 http://www.winmx.com/
