| Whining Speakers...now popping!! ok stock HU, stock speakers... recently, right channel front has been whining when i guess when there is electronic interference (i.e. turning on headlights, opening window etc...) like a sinusoidal wave-sound kinda. plus no sound really in the right channel. I bumped it up fast one time, and now it popps. just the two higher-channel speakers on the passenger front. I have no money, and no real need to power up my system, I just use it for news, some beats etc... should i: 1. replace HU with a cheap OEM from ebay? 2. Replace speakers? 3. Replace harness/wires? i can't isolate the problem...im not a seasoned vet in stereo equip...so any help would be appreciated!! thanks!! |

| if you have any kind of amp other than the stock amp, its probably ur stock amp causing interference, just disconnect it!

| i had the same problem, i recently changed the HU, added subs and changed the kick panel speakers, and had a bad hiss. I actually ended up replacing all the speakers, 2 aftermarket amps , ran new wires and had the stocl amp unhooked. turns out the stock amp was the problem. basically, stock systems suck ass, so you dont have many choices.
