Need a custom box, also need suggestions on car audio

Hey guys, I have a '98 M3 convertible. I'm looking for a good audio shop around the Chicagoland area that can make a custom box for a good price. I've already been to Mobile Tel in Naperville and was quoted $200 for a custom box. How does that price sound to you guys? All I'm thinking about doing is getting one 10" Alpine Type R sub with an Alpine mono sub to power it since there isn't much trunk space in the convertibles. I already have an Alpine CDA-7893 as the headunit. Thanks in advance.....

if the box is carpeted with an amp rack and everything intalled then it's a pretty good deal. Those Alpine Type-R's hit really nice, you should buy the DVC and wire that in parallel so it'll pound like crazy.

Now all you have to work on is staying on the road and out of people's front yards!!! (we're never gonna let you live that down man...)

Go to ABT audio in Glenview, I had my system done there and now my car is one of the loudest in my town. They can do anything u can imaging for a good price. Just make sure u talk to Brian Alexander. You shouldn't do DVD b/c your car is a convertible and it could get stolen, also you should do 1 12" Type-R instead of a 10".

Also you might want to change all the factory components, coaxels and aspeaker amp becuase you probably will get some distortion in your speakers.
