| Door Speakers -- Problem or Normal? When I play music at 1/4 or more of the Volume Dial, the Bass rattles the speakers in the door. I can hear the rattling outside more than the music even when my windows are down. Is everyone's car like this or is it just mine? Can I upgrade the speakers and will it resolve the problem? Can it be that the door can not handle the bass? What speakers are good to buy to replace them? What is the difference between a subwoofer and speaker? I drive a 1995 BMW 2dr M3. Thanks. |

| its most likely just something came a tiny bit loose somewhere, then it rattles back and forth, making that sound, which is EXTREMELY annoying. it could be anything, from a screw inside the door, to a panel or something. what i would suggest is turning the music on, then pressing on different parts of the door to see if it temporarily stops. if you find it, you can give it a bang or two, which probably wouldnt work, so your local dealer could probably fix it up for you. ![]()
