Rockford Fosgate speakers

i am getting 2 10z rockford fosgate speakers with the amp for $150. Has any 1 heard of these speakers or know if there any good? thanks

I don't know how they measure up to most of the speakers now days but back in my high scool years they were the "cream of the crop". I replaced my stock speakers with them and they sound tons better (those stock speakers were so freakin' cheap). They make better speakers than Kenwood, pioneer (my opinion). You won't be disappointed.

They are the shiat!! I have two fosgate eights in a fosgate box... they pound and are in great shape. My homeboy has two twelves and they POUND and last forever...I have heard nothing but good things bout them.

Rockford Fosgate in my opinion is one of the best brands you can get for the money.

Alright, well i sell this stuff, so heres my opinion. They are only 100 watts RMS, and they are pretty cheap, in fact - they are the cheapest RF sub that is still widely sold. But, they HIT hard. A coworker put 2 10's in his S10 with a 500S (500x2) and we all thought they would sound like crap, but they are clean, and hit hard enough to rattle the cabin to the point that you get dizzy and cant see out the rearview mirror. NOTE: 500 watts is way too much power for them, they will sound best with around 150 each. RF stuff is the best for the price IMHO, sure it isnt the best on the market, but the closest competition is 5 times the price...atleast.
