| VA/MD Car Audio Stores - ??? I'm in the Sterling area... Looking for a car audio store where I can test out some Focals, Blaupunkt, JL W7s, etc... I've been to Meyer-Emco and seen what all they have. Good, but I'd like a little more to choose from as well as places that can show me what can be done with respect to custom enclosures. | AUdio Explosion in Silver Spring MD. Go and talk to Claudio. they are great, and have pleanty of custom experance. I used to work there for a few months, but i did not meet their quality standards, when i was 16... but they are cool.... and do 110% of what they say they will and stand behind their work. | Katz Car Stereo in Arlington is pretty cool. They were gonna hook up my GSR before it got incinerated. They apparently do a real good job, you should check that out Katz's Homepage If not there, um, i would use that place in Silver Spring. There's also a place in Rockville that does Blaupunkt, but i dunno the name off the top of my head. sorry

| Tweeter's in Fairfax is a good place to look too. They've got a lot of good ideas as far as custom stuff. They even had a W7 demo for a couple of days, it's hard for them to keep enough in stock to use one as a demo, and it's even harder to find a place that has a demo. But they carry the same caliber of stuff as Meyer-Emco for the same prices, just a little different selection. |
