Factory Radio vs New radio system

Hello Everyone,

Good subject for today. Help Me.

I am not happy with my factory radio and sound system. I am looking to upgrade the insides and keep the radio and cd player and upgrade the amps, new speakers and maybe a sub. Has anyone replaced their factory radio, many shops around her say its hard to do. Many say keep the factory radio and cd player and upgrade the speakers, amps and subs. This is around a $2500 fix/upgrade to keep the factory radio and cd. For this much money I would just replace everything. Has anyone out there replaced their sound system, any pictures.

I want to do the same exact thing!! I looked into a JL Audio sytem and its less than $2500.....i believe it was $1500 for a bunch of stuff. if you want more info LMK. BTW: i heard that removing the bmw stereo is a b*tch too. Oh well....as soon as i get some money thats whats gonna go down.
