| speakers are all personal preferenace. i had a pair of kappa components in my car, and they sounded too sharp for me, so i sold them and bought the lower end, reference series components, and they sound great. how do you like your music? the speakers will be for you, make sure you get what you want, not what other people want.

| I have the MB Quart 3 way reference component in my car right now. The speakers are great unfortunately I was playing it too loud so my tweeters popped. Mb Quart tweeters cost about 50-100 to replace (i think). I dont know if i should just replace the tweeters or just go with a complete new set of component speakers. do you happen to know where i could buy mb quart tweeters for cheap? |

| I didnt like quarts either, even when attenuated to -4 and off axis. Too many companies to list them all, but here are some. CDT = best bang for the buck ADS Focal = i like the polykevs Dynaudio = too damn expensive Rainbow = even more expensive (I havent heard these)
