head unit / cd player in a 528i

oki guys, the speakers in the 528i arnt that good and im wanting some more bass out of it.
so ive got my 2 subwoofers and an amplifier with the wiring kit, im just wondering if anybody on here knows how to take out the headunit/cd player, i want to keep the inside of the car looking original so i still want to keep the cd player and dont want to get a new one, anyway would anybody know how to take it out of the dash, any tips or pointers would be really helpful as the cd player looks like it is very very hard to take out and i dont want to be damaging, scratching or breaking anything in the car.
the car is a 2000 model 528i.
