Radio turns off right after turning on?

Ok so i recently took out my radio because im getting an aftermarket one.

but it didn't fit so i returned it and ordered another one. But anyway i cant

do anything without music and when i put the stock radio back in it asked for

the code and i put it in. Then the speakers were VERY staticy and the radio

turns of after 10 seconds or so. what could be the problem??

More details please! How did you wire the aftermarket deck? Did you modify the factory harness in ANY WAY??

ok it started working now. Everything works fine however if I put in a cd or AUX or a usb drive the speakers dont work at all. I can see the seconds going by so the songs have to be playing but no sound? it works fine if it is just regular radio stations.

Your factory amp is not reciving power. My guess is the rem lead from the deck is not sending the signal to the amplifier. What sound system did the car come with(factory parts)
