| Need help on OEM wiring before OEM Harness The PO took his stereo so I wired the Metra BMW harness to the Alpine harness. Blu/white remote turn on wire from the Alpine to the blue wire on the Metra BMW (which connects to the white power factory wire). The solid blue Alpine power antenna wire NOT connected. However NO SOUND with either CD or radio. Any thought wouldx be appreciated. Also I can't find my antenna coxial, does it drop to the right or left in the back so I can try to fish it out. Thanks. | No power to my switched remote turn on....why? Now I have to follow the white power line to see where it is not connected. Is this a fuse or a cut connection by the PO? Does anyone know where this wiring connects, right or left side of the dash? |

| Let's start over. My newly installed Alpine is not working because the PO hacked up the OEM Harness now I have a spagetti mess behind the dash. I will painstakingly spliced the countless color wires. However, I see a group of three black double wires coming up from the floor, each has a white color one side and black on the other. The PO hacked into these, does anyone know what these are coming from and what there are for? See picture attched, the wires are on top of the shift. Thanks. | Which alpine head unit is it? Also, tell us what exactly you are trying to wire up? Is it a factory amp or something? Sounds like the PO made quite a mess. Before you go fishing out the remote turn-on wire, just test it at the harness/wire at the back of the head unit. It may be the wrong wire. |

| I think you operation are totally wrong, you should follow the instructions of the specification for installing, or you can go to the supplier, to make out what the problem is. |
