Stock head unit + Subs

i would like to put in a suboofer in my 2003 530i but want to keep the stock head unit, ive seen this done and was wondering how its done, any help is greatly appriciated

There are a few ways of doing this. You may have to splice the rear speakers with RCA cables, and I do not recommend doing that. You can buy an audio processor that you can hook your amplifier up with. Look at the JL Audio clean sweep and Alpine has one as well.
