| Stereo Head Unit Problem NO POWER I was on the freeway going back home listening to music on my pioneer after market stereo system installed in my 98 328i when all of a sudden it powers off! i was playing my ipod on it through an aux jack and never had a problem. -the climate control works, and so does the computer unit. -could it be a fuse or what? the head unit is the only thing that doesn't power up and the stereo is brand new. |

| Very well could be fuse. To rule out anything else, not to insult your electrical wiring ability, but how well did you install the harness(es)? Solder and shrinkwrap, or electrical tape/wiring nuts? Could be having a short that is tripping a fuse. (fuse# 9,33,43,44 just in case). Hope you have a easy one! ![]() -JP

| Hey thanks a lot for the help man, i really appreciate it. I fixed the stereo problem. My wipers also went out though because fuse #44 is shared by the wiper and stereo system and that's the one that was fries. so..... -IF YOUR WIPERS AND RADIO HAVE NO POWER, CHECK FUSE #44.(then 9,33,43,44) PROBLEM SOLVED |
