| sub died - no visible reason Hi there, My subs randomly went off whilst I was driving.... the fuses are fine, on both the power line and the amp. Connections look fine, and the headunit appears to be working as per normal... anyone got any ideas.....?

| The Amp does not seem to be getting power. The headunit does have seperate sub leads. I do run the subs pretty hard, but they were broken in b4 being run hard..... What is the best way for me to check if the amp is getting power. or to distinguish which of the wires may be broken? From everything I have looked at, everything looks fine, I have take the headunit out and checked the back connections, and again all looks ok, they not in a great state (previous owners of the car didn't seem to care too much..?) so far I'm at a loss

| okay I found the problem, the fuse block on the power cable in the engine bay had become faulty.... fuse was fine, the block itself was preventing power flow (gonna open it an look to see what happened) to fix, we cut the block out, got some connectors on the cable and put the fuse in. its all working again :-)

| probably much to late but i'd look into an ANL fuse holder, its a better connection that will allow more current to flow through the fuse, they're not very expensive either |
