| You can make your own custom box if you're good with wood (and i dont mean jerkin it) and have the tools necessary. Or get a relatively cheap box off the net.
I dont know how much you know but heres a few basics.
1)Get a box with the same air space rating that your sub works at optimally.
2) next decide Sealed, ported or bandpass. Sealed is my favorite (as I have a large variety of music that i listen to that sounds best sealed) Ported is good so long as you can figure out the optimal port diameter and depth which it goes into the box). Bandpass is good for showing off loud setups and certain music preferences.
3)MDF is preferable (particle board falls apart easier and doesnt provide the clean sound that Medium Density Fiberboard can)
4) you can buy decent cheap boxes (1 12" box sealed ~$90).
If you plan to build your own, you'll want to know a few other tips
