radio static

Hi guys,

I'm posting for my friends 97' 528i. When were riding around listening to the radio, it ocasionally turns to static...almost acts like a loose connection somewhere. I know theres a radio amp like in my E36, but i'm not sure how to get to it or if it's even the problem. Anyone ever have this problem?
