Late model H&K e36 amp in a 95 325?

I am in the process of upgrading my sound system and I was wondering if I used could use the 320 watt H&K amp found in the later model m3s in my 95 325is. As far as I can tell my car has the premium sound system (10 speakers) so I was hoping that the H&K amp would fit right into the harness of my stock amp. If that does not work I will have to start splicing wires to hook up a 200 RMS watt Alpine amp, which I would rather not do.
