Fixing or rebuilding a blown sub?

Anyone know of a way to fix or rebuild a blown subwoofer? I had this sub for a matter of weeks before it blew due to a short. It was rather expensive at the time and if it's worthwhile i'd like to get it fixed. It's a Kicker S15L7. Thanks.

Try to contact a kicker dealer and see if they'll re-cone it for you. It should cost about 1/3 to 1/2 the price of a new one.

If you want my honest opinion, upgrade. The L& may be loud, but its not clean, and is built like crap. (that sub cost less than $50 for Kicker to make in Malasia)

I sold Boston Acoustics to 5 Kicker dealers this year that dropped Kicker due to the number of blown woofers they were getting back.
