Anyone with MOMO audio in there ride?

Does any one have the 6.5, or 5.25 component systems, or the 12 or 10 inch subs. I have heard good reviews about these pieces, and they look pretty damn nice. Can I get some reviews from fellow DTMers.

Here's the deal w/ Momos... they are GORGEOUS.

The sound is pretty good, being made by Polk. However, if you are just going for sound quality because you won't able to see the speakers, then there are better options for the price, and that is a for sure. thing. I forget the exact numbers on those momos, but i know there is better sound quality options... post the prices and i know i can suggest a cleaner better component.

If you are going for show, these are gorgeous and i would have no complaints on them.

What year is your car? I am thinking of installe 5.25 components in my front, and maybe some POLK DX9 rear 6x9 speakers, and then either 2 10's, or 2 12's, in a tight sealed box in the trunk. You think this would be good? What size subs should I go for. I have an 88 325i. Any recommendations on a setup ot brand of amps?

I have an 1992 E36 and i will be doing 12s in the back. All custom work. Work is a little slow after the holidays so i can just roll the car into the bay and work on it in the down time. Not sure if the 5 1/4s will go in the front well. I'm just making a kickpannel for it. let me know if you need anything.

momo can barely manage to handle performance much less using polk to deliver overpriced car audio. I would pick them up if you got them for a really good price, but for what they are asking retail for them - spend your money elsewhere

I have momo's in my car. right now I've only installed the components in the front. I have the 5 1/4 separates the woofers down low, and the tweeters in the stock pod.

I also have 3 momo 12's sitting in their box, i haven't decided what to do with them yet.

look at my sig a bit closer

All i can say about the Momo/Polk series is that if you are looking for sound quality you can get much better for the price.

They slap the momo name on there and jack up the price.

If you are going for show then they are a good choic since they do look pretty sweet.

But lets just say that I could get them for really low price, like way off the MSRP, on EBay, 12" sub for 175, then would it be worth it to get. THanks.

If you can get them cheap go for it. But i would be careful buying audio things off ebay. A lot of stuff is B grade products and they dont carry manufactorers warrenty. I have had my solo's replaced a couple times because I blew them, all thanks to the warrenty.
