Rear Speaker Whining ???

I have a 99 M3 E36 and I noticed that one the way home today there was a whine in my rear speakers. When I turn the radio off the whine stops, when I rev the engine the whine gets louder so what do you guys think it is thanks for the help Taylor

Can you please provide a little more information? Is this the stock head unit with stock rear speakers or is this an aftermarket system. Either way it sounds like a classic bad ground issue. Check all your grounds on your amps (If you have aftermarket one) and make sure you are using the shortest cable possible. If this is the stock head unit check the ground on the harness and hookup a second case ground if necessary.

I just solved the problem it was a loose ground wire on the aftermarket amp Thanks alot for the help
