| Need Help wiring two amplifiers together I need some help in how to properly wire two amplifiers together to Two Subs. As of right now I have an audiobahn A4002T 800 watt amp and a kenwood 600 watt. I have them wired together but for some reason the Audiobahn comes on and then the Kenwood comes on and they both cut off. I have both of the levels turned all the way down. They way they are wired goes like this. The audiobahn is wired normally for a power, ground, and remote. I have the RCAs coming from the deck wired in to the LINE IN and I bridged the speaker outputs(meaning one wire comes off of a positive and splits to each sub, same with the negative). For the LINE OUT on the audiobahn a set of RCAs runs to the kenwood. The kenwood is wired normally for power, ground, and remote. I also have it bridged. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

| If I understand this correctly, you have two subs, and two sub amps and you want to use both amps to power both of your subs? If this is I case you will have to wire one sub to each amp, which really wouldn't make sense, due to the different outputs of the amp. It's really not a good idea to power two subs together with two different amps....in fact I'm pretty sure that won't even work, which is why the amps are shutting down. What kind of subs are you using? DVC or SVC? Ohms? Trev |

| Alpine Type E SVC Not sure on the Ohms. So one is going to have 600 watts going to it and the other is going to have 800 watts?

| Scrapped the Kenwood and just hooked up the Audiobahn. Better wattage(800w) and better sound and alot more flexibility in tuning(Bass Boost, Subsonic, High Pass Filter Level, Low Pass Filter Level)and a little more appealing to the eye. Not bad for 150 Bucks at Frys Electronics.
