do the M3 rear seats have a bit that folds down in the middle to reveal the ski-hole. At the moment my sub is mounted similar to urs but when i put my rear seat in (normal e30 seat with no hole) it sounds terrible. i am going to get a hole cut in my seat with a peic that can be removed and replaced if i hav to carry 5 people

doesnt the sound of your sub get muffled greatly wen u hav the back seat in? or is that y u hav the port holes, for the sound to come through the parcel shelf area?

Since you have an E30... How is the sound deadening on the car? I have two 10" infinity reference series subs and they rattle the entire car which is quite annoying.

I have some dampening sheets in the garage but I'm hoping the rattling on this E30 I'm getting will be minimal

I have the same cut outs/set up in my e34 which is pretty identical with three 12's and the only rattle I have is licence plate and rear window spoiler. The only dynamat I put in was around the sub cut outs.
